This Native American Indian beaded leather wallet dates from the early to mid 20th century. The wallet was likely made to be sold as a souvenir at a reservation trading post. The leather is very soft doe or calf skin and the beading is very well done. The zipper is an early circa 1940's example marked TALON. The condition is quite nice having survived with no appreciable bead losses.
