This great little treenware lidded bowl is made of what appears to be maple. The bowl and it's lid retain the original red painted surface in excellent condition. The bowl is a bit out of round due to shrinkage from age but only as should be expected. The bowl dates from the mid to late 19th century and the surface is simply wonderful. The original red paint is untouched with an excellent patina.
Dimensions: Height to top of lid 2¼" Dia. 4"
